Little Wishes
We know from experience that small acts of kindness can make a world of a difference in the lives of seniors. At the height of the pandemic, we delivered care packages to seniors, or as we like to call them ‘little wishes’, that were supplementary to our big wishes. Since then, our little wishes have taken on a new shape so that we can continue to reach as many seniors as possible with small acts of kindness. Check out our ‘little wishes’ below that we carry out year round!
’24 Valentine’s Day Campaign
Each year, we partnered with our friends at Rousseau Chocolatier for our annual Valentine’s Day Campaign! For only $10, we will deliver a package of hand-crafted chocolates and deliver them to an anonymous senior in Atlantic Canada. We work together with our community partners to ensure these packages get into the hands of seniors who could use a pick-me-up. Included in the package is a note to remind the senior that this came from a community member who was thinking of them on a day where love, appreciation, and connectedness is celebrated the most! ❤️ Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we have now reached our targeted goal and can't wait to deliver 1,269 handcrafted chocolate packages to seniors in Atlantic Canada on our before February 14th. Your generosity and involvement is making a significant impact and we couldn't have done this without you. Thank you again for being a part of our Valentine's Day Campaign success!
’23 Holiday Happiness Card Campaign
This year, we reached our goal and delivered 2,000 handwritten cards to seniors in our community all thanks to your incredible support!! There are not enough words to express our gratitude for each and everyone of you, and we are already looking forward to our 2024 campaign next year! Together, we will continue to build momentum, create change, and touch the lives of our seniors in as many ways as possible!
