We Are Young’s mission is to grant meaningful wishes to seniors, sparking joy, connection, and dignity in later life, while also challenging ageist stereotypes and inspiring communities to value and engage with their aging population. Each year, our Holiday Happiness Card Campaign continues this mission. We create handwritten messages of care in each holiday card to remind seniors they are valued, loved, and remembered by their community, especially during a time when many feel most isolated and lonely. As the holiday season begins, your support is vital in helping us uplift a generation that deserves appreciation and recognition. Your purchase isn’t just a card but an investment in a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Each year, we team up with our friends at Halifax Paper Hearts to create a beautifully designed holiday card just for this campaign.
The Holiday Happiness Card Campaign is a meaningful way for our community to spread joy and connection to seniors. By purchasing a card, you are helping remind an older adult that they are valued, loved, and remembered during a season that can feel isolating for many.
When you checkout, you can choose to include your own heartfelt message, which our volunteers will carefully hand-transcribe into the card on your behalf. Or, if you prefer, our team will craft a thoughtful message for you. This personal touch builds genuine connections between seniors and their communities, making a lasting emotional impact.
From there, we handle all the logistics and partner with trusted community organizations who ensure your card reaches a senior who could use a warm reminder that they matter.
Through this campaign, you share the sentiment and we take care of the rest. Together, we make the holidays brighter for seniors across our communities.

From there, we partner with trusted community organizations who ensure your card reaches a senior who could use a warm reminder that they matter.
